In Vietnam, arranging healthcare visits is often inconvenient due to inconsistent booking methods and unclear pricing. Zoop Care aimed to simplify this process, connecting Vietnamese users with healthcare providers through mobile & web booking platforms.
As the Product Designer for Zoop Care’s customer-facing mobile app, I collaborated with PMs and PMMs to identify user needs through interviews, uncovering key pain points such as scheduling confusion, unclear pricing, and a fragmented user journey.
I designed visually calming UIs that provided service selection, transparent pricing details, promotions, and easy appointment management. To handle last-minute cancellations and no-show appointments, I worked with the team to integrate SMS reminders and flexible bookings. I also optimized mobile usability by ensuring tappable areas met accessibility standards and improving load times for Android devices common in our user base.
Within months, Zoop Care’s app achieved 70% average user retention. I also led the “Care Day” campaign in March 2021, which drove nearly 1,000 bookings. The launch helped Zoop raise $4m in funding and earn recognition as one of Vietnam’s Top 100 SMEs by SME100®.
